The Journey to Creating a Shift

My work in digital marketing is deeply rooted in a holistic approach to business, branding, and social media. I don’t just help brands market their products—I help them tell their stories, connect authentically, and create change. My background in Sociology, Human Services, and Holistic Psychology (where I studied indigenous healing modalities) has shaped how I approach marketing—not just as a strategy, but as a form of transformation.

My career has taken me across industries, working with notable clients like DJ Shortee and Chris Brown’s Auracles brand. But beyond big names, my passion lies in helping mission-driven entrepreneurs, creatives, and wellness leaders build brands that truly reflect their purpose.

From Social Services to Soulwork

Before founding the Soulwork App, I worked in social services and mental health, advocating for individuals navigating broken systems. I saw firsthand how inaccessible healing and wellness were, especially for marginalized communities. Frustrated by these barriers, I created Soulwork, a space where healing is not a luxury but a right—making mental wellness accessible, affordable, and deeply transformative.

A Single Mother’s New Chapter

I’m also a single mother to a beautiful little boy, navigating life in a new city while building my business. Moving from Houston, TX to Corpus Christi, TX was an unexpected shift, but I’ve found strength in embracing change. In between running a business and raising my son, I’ve explored the city’s hidden gems—places that support mompreneurs, mental wellness, and families raising children with autism. This book was written while I was a Behavior Support Specialist at a residential treatment center for teen girls. After seeing how the current curriculum fell short of connecting with and supporting healing and transformation in the girls life, I created a solution.
